Today we're making an overnight culture of the GFP bacteria from Dr. Clase so that we can make glycerol stocks of those, too. Also making liquid cultures of the stocks from last week to qualitatively see which method worked better.

For testing last week's stocks, used 10 mL of amp liquid media with SOS parts (would've used non-antibiotic media, but couldn't get the bottle open). The stock from the Clase protocol was a more normal gel, while the iGEM stock took some time to melt and was much more icy.
