August 8th
Checking Transformations
Today, the transformations were checked. Colonies were present on the pUC positive control, but all the other dishes did not contain any colonies. We were not able to transform Top10 cells with iGEM DNA so far.
Visit to Groningen
After checking the transformation, we went to Groningen for a meet & greet with the Groningen iGEM team. The projects of both teams were presented and we had a wonderful lunch. Thanks again! Luckily this time we could also help out the Groningen team by providing them with punches of the pSB1AT3 spot.
