Transforming into DH5α E. coli
From 2008.igem.org
- Add 12.5μl plasmid or ligation mixture to 100μl cells on ice.
- Mix by pipetting carefully up and down.
- Incubate tubes on ice for 45 minutes.
- Incubate in a 37°C water bath for 3 minutes.
- Add 300μl LB to the mixture and mix by pipetting carefully up and down.
- Incubate in a 37°C water bath for 60 minutes.
- Plate onto antibiotic agar.
