Tuesday 26th August

  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, restriction mixtures were put in the fridge on Friday 22.08.08. Therefore the restriction was allowed to run for a further 1.5 hours before running on a gel.

pGFP-rrnB colonies on +Spec agar plate

Results from overnight (ON) agar cultures:

- pGFPrrnB (amp) - no colonies

- pGFPrrnB (spec) - colonies present

- pGFPrrnB (no antibiotic) - colonies present

  • ON cultures were made:

- pGFP-rrnB grown on ampicillin

- pJWV021 grown on ampicillin

- pUC57-ncl08 grown on ampicillin
