Testing of

  • resistance to antibiotics achieved by interacting with a protein in medium;
  • minimum amount of protein in medium providing resistance to ampicillin (50 ul/ml) for OmpA with A-alpha, A-omega and Z-omega;

Checking the minimal amount of protein added to the medium is sufficient for ampicillin (Ap 50) resistance for OmpA variants: A-alpha, A-omega and Z-omega.

Competition tests:
Inoculation to one tube (0.25 mM IPTG; ampicillin 50 μl/ml)

  • A-omega, omega and Z-omega - A_alpha protein added ~100 μg
  • A-omega, omega and Z-omega - Z_alfa protein added ~100 μg
  • A-alpha, alpha and Z-alpha - Z_omega protein added ~100 μg
