another journey starts, memories remain of the [http://www.igem.upv.es/igem06/index.php?title=User:Arnau previous] [http://parts.mit.edu/igem07/index.php/User:Arnau one]...

things that could have been done better were, sadly, not improved. others that were meant to be imporved were in deed, improved. and so, as nature, experience finds its ways...

once, I came to know a freak saying that stated: "Wisdom pursues me, but I'm faster"

this year I started a PhD thesis on systems biology of cyanobacteria. our goal is to first know ths system and, then, to assess the design of devices taking advantage of synthetic biology approaches.

being in the middle of a PhD thesis is like going from up the hill to down the valley in seconds... sometimes I feel like a little Mickey Mouse with the sorcerer's hat in Fantasia, astonished at what you can do; sometimes I feel like Roger Waters whispering "is there anybody out there?" at the near end of The Wall and sometimes, even, I feel like building up hypothesis in order to reach mountain tops is what I like the most... letting free imagination in order to come with a rational and thoughtfull explanation of some apparently unrational data... just like taming Sandworms...
