Resistance: kanamycin
Features: Fusion of OmpA, omega and alpha fragments of β-lactamase and protein ZSPA-1 under control of IPTG inducible lactose promoter. Low (10) copy plasmid
Preparation: Alpha fragment of β-lactamase amplified from pUC19 plasmid using AlphaL+SacI and AlphaPlinkSac primers, digested with SacI and ligated into pACYC177+OmpA-Z-omega [Notebook entries]
Usage: OmpA-alpha-Z-omega protein is directed to bacterial outer membrane thanks to presence of OmpA protein. This is one of our 'hunter' protein variants
