Description

This vector was a kind gift from the:
Department of Virology,
Faculty of Biology,
University of Warsaw

Initially we planned to use this vector because it carries genes of OmpA protein and antibody fragment. Eventually we used it only as a template for PCRs to achieve OmpA gene.

Construction of vector is described in publication: Quantitative analysis of the effect of the mutation frequency on the affinity maturation of single chain Fv antibodies by Patrick S. Daugherty, Gang Chen, Brent L. Iverson, and George Georgiou, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2000 February 29; 97(5): 2029–2034. (PMID: PMC15748)
