It's summer! The Teachers' workshops are over and all of the teams are working towards the Jamboree in November. Whether you are an early team with a few weeks left of your summer or a late team that got started in lab a few weeks ago please keep your eye out for new information about the rest of the summer and about the Jamboree.
Invitation Letters
The Jamboree is fast approaching. If you are going to need a invitation letter to obtain a visa to visit the US please contact us soon! We will also be implementing an automatic invitation letter system that will let you automatically generate an invitation. In the meantime, contact HQ with the following information:
- Name
- Mailing address
- Passport No.
- Date of birth
- Nationality
Checking Quality Control
The Registry did a lot of work in preparation for iGEM 2008 that involved running all parts in the Repository through a quality control process. All of the information generated is available for all Registry and iGEM members to use. When working with a part please make sure to consult the QC information. Here are [http://partsregistry.org/Help:How_to_check_a_part instructions] on how to interpret the results.
