Team Sorbitol:

Repeated the PCRs from yesterday, but harvested the chromosomal DNA using proteinase K instead of boiling.
When the PCR product was run on a gel we found a band around 700bp (the correct size of srlD)
Also attended the Wisconsin iGEM team meeting.

Team Fungus:
Ran Carbon-limited and Nitrogen-limited cDNA on 1% agrose gel
-Only ladder showed
-Analysis: cDNA is single stranded and ethidium bromide dye does not bind.
