- Engineered E. coli to kill competing bacteria with an oxidative burst.

- (Summer 2007) Demonstrated that two small molecules can reduce huntingtin-mediated toxicity in a dose-dependent manner in two tissue culture models.
- (Summer 2006) Investigated age-related protein aggregation using yeast as a model.
