Welcome to the 2008 University of Calgary Software Team
We are the team known as the EvoGents. Consisting of five members, our team developed a software program, EvoGEM. This program not only models the processes within the cell, but it also optimizes BioBrick circuits. Moreover, we developed a user interface that makes the software easy-to-use and, thus, accessible to a large segment of the population. We believe that EvoGEM will be part of the future of synthetic biology.
