this page is under heavy construction at the moment - most menu items wont work correctly and its generally quite a mess ....

So to make it short - the info that most people visiting this page might be interessted:
ETH Zuerich is breaking its tradition to construct a nice cirucit to do computational work ....

Our target for this year is to minimize Ecoli to make it more useable in syn. Biology.

We are investigating 2 approches atm:

Using a randomized Search (directed Evolution) approch with Restriction Enzymes
Using knockout with trying all Permutations via mobile Plasmids
