I have always been interested in saving the world!, which i feel influenced my choice of studying renewable energy and joining the iGEM team. I dont know exactly what is going on in the lab work, because i have no biology background, but i think we are doing good. As a part of the project, i have been researching the food shortage problem that the world is suffering from, i found some really disturbing photos of starving people, and was shocked to learn about the scale of the problem.
