Making Overnight Cultures from Agar Plate Colonies
- Pipette 10mL LB into red-capped culture tubes or conical shake flasks.
- Using an autoclaved toothpick, gently touch the point to a single colony.
- Drop the toothpick point down into the LB.
- Incubate overnight at 37°C whilst shaking.
