Today
- Got the sequences back that Jason did yesterday. They look good (aligned to the reference sequences, and they matched). The sequences have been added to a sequencing page for future reference (and incase we lose the chromatograms or sequence files).
Jason
- Sent off all of his sponsor letters... and now we wait
- started overnights of the TetR biobrick
- Restreaked TetR colonies
- Transformed Test ligation of the single cut J61003...and now yet again we wait
- Used a confocal microscope to observe a suspension of colonies ... They where flourescing red?!?@?!@??#@##?!$%!$# sooo... there is some sort of florescent protien I just can't really for sure tell you what it is. I hope its purple russian but more later.
