Project Summary
Our project is to make E.coli process the amount of imput signal and read out the integrated value of the signals like E.coli performing integration.
To do this, we construct two populations. E.coli A convert the amount of input linearly to expression of stable signal molecule which cannot metabolize or degradation. The stable molecule concentrainon is integrated value because the concentration does not go down. E.coli B contains another circuit to sense the concentration of the signal molecule and report. Thus E.coli B convert the integrated signal to PoPS. The report circuit has some threshold to report the differnce of the concentration by expressing another fluorecent protein.
