Hi!!!!!! I am Omar, from Jordan. I jioned Edinburgh University 3 years ago and i graduated last May(2008) with a Bachelor degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. I will do my masters in renewable energy in germany and specialise in photovoltaics next year.
After 3 years of studying engineering, I started wondering what it would have been like if i did something different, i then recieved an email about this competition, and read about it and found it very interesting.
I have always been interested in saving the world!, which i feel influenced my choice of studying renewable energy and joining the iGEM team.
I like playing the piano, and my favourite sport is squash.
