• Member of Caltech's 2008 iGEM team
  • Engineered E. coli to kill competing bacteria with an oxidative burst.
• Buck Institute for Aging Research
  • (Summer 2007) Demonstrated two small molecules can reduce huntingtin-mediated toxicity in a dose-dependent manner in two tissue culture models.
  • (Summer 2006) Investigated age-related protein aggregation using yeast as a model.
