lab work (SD): 

            Results from 21/07/08 overnight cultures in 96-well plate: No growth seen in double-plasmid wells.
            Growth visible in K102022 and XL1-B wells.  Put 96-well plate back at 37 C.
            Test transformation technique by adding 1.0 ul of K102032 and 1.0 ul of K102034 to XL1-B cells and 
            plating 10 ul on LB+amp50, 10 ul on LB+kan35, and 100ul on LB+amp50+kan35.
