*Malaria group should look up other water-borne diseases as well
*E.coli group email Dr. Golding for books

    • This is for the ecoli group and whomever else may need it. From my email with the Dr. Golding:
      • In my view, the best two sources for protocols are the following. They both offer not just the protocols,

but also intelligent introductions to the subject matter.

1) "Current Protocols in Molecular Biology" http://mrw.interscience.wiley.com/emrw/9780471142720/home/

Full text available for UIUC, I believe. A paper version exists as well.

See e.g. Chapters 1,2,3 & 13.

2) "Molecular Cloning: A Laboratory Manual" By Joseph Sambrook et al. 3-volume set. Perhaps also available online (Google books?); used paper copies available online.

All the best,

  • 3:45 Aleem gave a presentation on the basics of how to use a wiki. Everyone should go home and upload a picture to their user page. Look around at other wikis to see what you like that we can add to ours. View source code (or click edit) to see how to put it on our own website
  • 4:00 Arranged time to meet with our groups

The meeting ended at 4:10.
