Adler Shing Chak Ma

Obviously, I am most familiar with the biological aspects of our project. I researched cellulose degradation early on, but I have been doing mostly wet lab work recently. On the team, I seem to be something of a free agent, especially when Cellulomonas fimi is concerned. Unfortunately, I occasionally make silly decisions and do things without thinking, eliciting a puzzled "Why?" from Dr French (I am always at a loss to answer).
My interests outside of Biology and Medicine are languages, Chinese and Japanese culture, and classical music. I used to be a performing pianist but I haven't practised since coming to university! At the moment, my principal leisure activities seem to be eating and sleeping.
