To 1L ddH20 you will add:

• 0.5 g Tryptone
• 0.3 mL 100% Glycerol (or, I use 0.6 mL sterile 50% glycerol)
• 5.8 g NaCl
• 5.0 mL 1M MgSO4

Autoclave to sterilize. Small aliquots are preferred, since contamination is difficult to detect.
