Preamble:
There were two E. coli colonies that had been transformed by electroporation earlier. The original intention was to cotransform a single colony of E. coli carrying one plasmid with ampicillin resistance, and the other with puy resistance. When the cotransformed plate grew no colonies, it was decided that we should transform the healthier colony with the remaining plasmid.
Current:
Electroporation proceeded as above, however there were five arcs, and no normal activity during transformation; we await to see whether or not any cotransformed cells can be recovered from this procedure.
House Keeping: If anyone is looking for 1M D-Glucose solution, I have prepared roughly 90mL for the team.
Thanks, Ed.
