Swimmy Bacteria

the E.coli freeze and gather when they are caught by red light....(more)

Aromaticoli

By lighting bacteria, a refreshing scent stars filling the room.

In the dark, the light sensing E.coli will turn orenge. With the red light on, the color of E.coli fades out, and aroma is produced instead....(more)

The light in the morning leaking from a gap between the curtains... this morning lights calls and awakes the E. coli....(more)

iGEM Chiba 2007

07-project was to make a Marimo-ish gathering of bacteria. Marimo is a green spherical shaped algae, which is a popular living organism in Japan as a National Treasure because of its beautiful shape and its smoothness.
