We assume first that HSL binds TOTALLY (in presence of a DNA template), with a complexation order of 1, to LasR (thanks to [7]).
So, at the steady state, as long as LasR exists in sufficient quantity, the concentration of complex HSL_-_LasR is equal to the [HSL] introduced.
