Spent the day working on the [wiki]. Used the basis of https://2007.igem.org/Imperial for an example. Copied all of their css code and modified it to work. Rather than having an external css file, it's all just inline. The header, including both the navigation and welcome box, are in a separate file that can just be embedded in the page.

Since I was having problems with the widths of things, I made sure that none of the individual components specify their sizes or margins. It's up to the containing //div// to handle that.

Note to self: Find out the name of the summer biology student and get her on the wiki as well.

I wrote blurbs for the welcome page and edited the external paragraph slightly to fit on the front page, and then linked it along with the graphic that Neil created. I got rid of the details on that picture with GIMP, so now it has no details about implementation. That's probably best anyway, because we have different ideas now than when we first started.

Went down to help with SVN and Mark's problems with JSim. Stupid program can't read CellML right. Sigh. It was interpreting some units (ųM!) in meters for some reason, and completely screwing up the units of everything.

I'm happy finally with how the external wiki looks. I should start writing something up about neural nets, quorum sensing, or such things. I went and found the abstract for that poster that was put up in April at that conference. Took me forever to figure out that it was BioSysBio. I'd forgotten, and I wanted to attribute it properly. Because I was too lazy to re-write and just slapped it up like that.

Maybe I'll bring it up at the meeting this week.
