This is my second year participating in iGEM at UCSF--in fact, I moved over to the sunny west coast from the east on a lark (and fearless encouragement of my San Francisco dwelling sister and brother-in-law) to have a part of building our project with Abraham Lincoln High and iGEM in May of 2007.

I'm so glad I made the move; from the research, to the people, to the hodgepodge of new tasks I've had to perform, the experience at UCSF has been wonderful and irreplaceable. It's also been great to be at least part of the team for 2008. While I departed the lab at the end of August to go back to school, I'm really looking forward to rejoining the crew in November in Boston.
