I live in San Francisco, and have been in the bay area since 2000, when I started my undergraduate at UC Berkeley. I graduated in 2004 with a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology. Following undergrad, I worked as a technician for 2 years at the Molecular Sciences Institute. During this time, I met Drew Endy and first heard about iGEM. And the rest, as they say, is history.
