The overall goal of the modeling process will be to accurately model the entire system, that is to say from input signaling molecules to conjugation. Our team has decided on two sets of inputs: Glucose(rather absence of glucose) and Lactose, and tetracycline and arabinose.  The output of these 'and gates' will be LuxR, which will bind with AHL (produced by Yeast) and will activate transcription of conjugation genes.  The AHL+LuxR complex serves as a second, cascaded 'and gate.' Ideally the models for individual circuit stages may be coupled together to form more complex and accurate models of the larger system.

This is a template page. READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
You are provided with this team page template with which to start the iGEM season. You may choose to personalize it to fit your team but keep the same "look." Or you may choose to take your team wiki to a different level and design your own wiki. You can find some examples HERE.
You MUST have a team description page, a project abstract, a complete project description, and a lab notebook. PLEASE keep all of your pages within your Team:Example namespace.

You can write a background of your team here. Give us a background of your team, the members, etc. Or tell us more about something of your choosing.

Intro

In equilibrium this portion of the Wiki will elucidate the modeling choices and serve as the resting place for the published models of the system. The transitory response of this page will serve as a sort of blog detailing the high jinks, hiccups, and pertinent ideas explored during the team's run.

The Goal

(Or you can choose different headings. But you must have a team page, a project page, and a notebook page.)

Note

If you choose to include a Modeling page, please write about your modeling adventures here. This is not necessary but it may be a nice list to include.
