Goals

  • turn in time sheets!
  • Examine flourescent proteins under flourescence camera
    • psb1A10
    • assembly 3 of i715039 and E0240
  • make overnight broths of these flourescent protein cells and of the BP2 and BP3 genes
  • assemble I715039 (RFP) with terminator B1002

Results

  • while examining flourescent cells we discover a couple things
    • psb1A10 needs to be induced by a plate with arabidose in the gel
    • our ligation glows red but our GFP E0240 has still never worked, we need to figure out whats going on with this part
  • since RFP works we will ligate it with a known terminator to assemble with a GFP that we can prove works on its own
