- Cultures of the pVJ4 plasmid were made in LB Lennox, LB Luria, and M9 Minimal Media and left overnight. The most cell lysis occurred in LB Lennox. This is due to the greater amount of initial growth in the Lennox. The solution was very clear with DNA settled on the bottom of the culture tube. The cultures grown in Luria and M9 were considerably more cloudy.
