• We worked some more on the poster and the presentation. We also finished 'ethics and human practice', this will be uploaded to the wiki soon.

• We tested the input, the output and the hybrid promoter by measuring the fluorescence with a FACS apparatus. The exact protocol will be put on the data analysis page of this wiki. To test the output we used K145201+K145205, to test the input we used K145201+R0040+E0240 and to test the hybrid promoter we used K145270+K145150+E0240. The results of the input looked very promising. The results of the output were good, but there are some issues. The hybrid promoter failed - maybe the construct wasn't correct.
