  • Sent M211-212 (pSB1A2-glgC16), M215 (pSB1A2-bglX) for sequencing. (AM)
  • P97: Third attempt at MABEL PCR for cex using M150 as template with 10µl 50% glycerol, denaturing 1 min, annealing 58°C, extension 95 sec. (AM)
  • Re-run M213, M217-M221 (dxs+crtEBI) on Gel 79, results looked promising and M213 and M218 will be sent for sequencing tomorrow. (YAN)
  • Decided to give up on cenA and use CHU1727 endoglucanase from Cytophaga instead. CKL (CF's PhD student) is working on this. (AM)
