lab work (SD): 

            Measured cell count using spectrophotometer of 10/07/08 overnights.
            Lac Z Activity Assay was unsuccessful - perhaps not enough cells were used?

lab work (JD): 

            Carried out Day 2 protocol for Activity Assay
            Like stated above, was not successful.
            Collected quantitative data of restriction fragments for ligation
            Ligated K102003+pSB4A5=K102031 and K102006+pSB4A5=K102021
            Transformed XL1-B Cells 
            Plated cells on LB + Amp50
