Output
We have been searching for an easy accesible output system, that could us provide in a quick and easy way qualitative and quantitative information. The choice for GFP was quickly made. We added an LVA C-terminal tag for rapid degradation of the protein, so that we can follow the output signal quickly in time. More information about this type of tagging can be found here (link).
The OmpF promoter (BBa_R0084) behaves as described in the input section. For fine-tuning reasons, the RBS was chosen BBa_B0032 with a relative efficiency of 0,3.
