Of the transformations done yesterday, only both the pUC18 transformations succeeded. To test for the quality of the DNA, we will run gels with the extracted DNA.
We will also do a transformation with the DNA extracted from the spots sent later (the promoter strength testing system) to see whether this will work. Possibly this batch of DNA has been in different conditions and will be more successful in transformation.
