Wet Lab

Cloning

  • Plates form yestreday's transformations checked.
    • J31005, B0015, J04650 and I13401 transformants grew overnight but no growth was registered for the C0012 transformant nor the controls.
  • PCR primers for XylR, LacI and AmyE integration sequences designed and sent for synthesis

B.subtilis

  • The transformation protocol 2, Click link here for protocol, was performed yesterday. The transformed cells have not yet grown on the LB agar plates containing 100ug/ul streptinomycin. We will leave over the weekend to grow further.
